Banwell Bowling Club Charity Day 2019

Banwell Bowling Club will be hosting its annual charity day event this year on Sunday 28th July from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Each year since 2006 the club has held a tournament to raise money for the club and the Captains chosen charity, which this year is in aid of Prostate Cancer.

A number of Charities have been supported over the years; Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation, Banwell Play group, Banwell Community, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Friends of Diabetes to name but a few.

The Charity Day is the one opportunity in the year to give some funding to a worthy cause, whilst promoting Banwell and sustaining links with the local community.

Teams from Winscombe, Paultons, Clarence, Victoria, Yatton and Ashcombe will play against teams from Banwell for the Tony Johnston Shield.

There are two ways people can help support this event:

    1.    A direct donation of money

    2.    A gift/prize that can be included in the prize draw/ raffle at the end of the day
