Banwell Recreation Ground Outdoor Fitness & Activity Space – Invitation to Tender
This opportunity is being advertised through Find a Tender and on the Parish Council website to ensure an open and transparent procurement process.
Banwell Parish Council is inviting tenders for the design, supply and installation of a new Outdoor Fitness & Activity Space at Banwell Recreation Ground, Westfield Road, Banwell.
The project aims to create a welcoming, durable and engaging outdoor activity space that encourages informal exercise, social interaction and active recreation for a wide range of users including teenagers, young adults, adults and casual fitness users.
The Council is seeking proposals for a predominantly calisthenics and bodyweight fitness facility, supported by a limited number of interactive or adjustable fitness elements, together with all associated groundworks, foundations, surfacing and installation works.
Contract Details
- Estimated contract value: Approximately £30,000 (excluding VAT)
- Tender return deadline: midday 2 July 2026
- Anticipated contract award: 21st July 2026
- Anticipated installation period: Autumn 2026
