Monday - 1st August 2022

  • Banwell Youth Club Ninja Warrior TripTime: 10am-4pm

     Ninja Warrior Trip – Cardiff                                                                                     10am-4pm                               

    Young people will have the chance to take part in the famous TV programme ninja warrior at their site in Cardiff, followed by a picnic lunch at Trelai Park. (Young people will need to bring a packed lunch)

    New members welcome! Ages 10-18, (year 5s starting year 6 in sept also welcome). 

    £5 refundable deposit and £1.00 on the day.

  • Thursday - 4th August 2022

  • You Can Do I.TTime: 2-4pm

    Want to learn I.T skills from scratch? Do you want to just brush up on your digital knowledge? Or do you just want to ask a question?  ‘You Can Do I.T’ is open to anyone of all ages looking to improve their I.T skills over a cup of tea. Sessions will be held twice a month from January 2022 at Banwell Youth & Community Centre, Thursdays 2-4pm. Bring your own device or use the ones provided.

    • 18th August, 2-4pm

    Banwell WI at Banwell Village hall, 2nd Thurs month 7:30pm

    Raffle/refreshments/bring and buy table / bring along a flower from your garden. 

    Guest speaker Great Western Air ambulance.

    Wild Place-                                                                                                         10.30pm – 4pm

    A day exploring the outdoor wildlife park. Young people will need to bring a packed lunch.

    Young people will have fun playing water games followed by a BBQ ( young people advised to bring a towel and change of clothes)

  • Tea & Tech: Over 50s digital supportTime: 2-4pm

    Tea & Tech: Over 50s digital sessions

    you can do it banner with laptop and tea graphicWould you or someone you know benefit from some digital tips? Our first Tea and Tech session was a great success and we enjoyed learning more about laptopts, tablets and smart phones over tea, cake and a chat. Due to the positive feedback, we will be running more events in January, February and March. Register your interest for our next session today!

    The events involve free digital advice aimed at the over 50s age group to learn the basics with experts on hand to answer questions. Equipment will be available to try  or you can bring your own!

    Connect with others over tea & cake.
